Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Christ is truly Risen! Alleluia!

This is the mystery of Pentecost: The Holy Spirit illuminates the human spirit and, on revealing Christ crucified and risen, indicates the way to become more like him, that is, to be "expression and instrument of love that comes from him" ("Deus Caritas Est," No. 33). The Church, gathered with Mary, as at her birth, today implores: "Veni Sancte Spiritus!" -- "Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of thy love!"

Pope Benedict XVI

This Sunday, The Church celebrates the Solemnity of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, giving them the courage to preach the Good News. Let’s pray for one another and for our community, that the Holy Spirit may descend anew and inflame us with God’s love.

We congratulate Mrs. Coady
and her family on the birth their newest addition, Mary Claire Coady.

International Night is here! The festivities are on Friday, May 9, from 6-8:30 p.m.
We’ve designed the night so that you and your children will be able to choose from a variety of activities: Grade 5-8 students will display their International Night projects in the auditorium and Narthex B the entire evening, but will be available at their projects from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. to answer questions ans share what they have learned.

Deborah Costine, professional puppeteer, will be giving three performances of Classic Shadow Puppet Stories at 6:30, 7:15, and 8:00 in the preschool classroom.

Third and fourth grade will be performing 2 folk tale skits at 7:30 in their classroom.

Second grade is performing Polish dance on stage at 6:30.

Preschool, kindergarten, and first grade are performing Latin dances on stage at 6:00.

From 6:30-8:30, families will be able to make crafts from Puerto Rico in the kindergarten classroom.

From 6:00-8:30, families will be able to make Chinese crafts in the first grade classroom.

Light hors d’oeuvres will be available in the auditorium throughout the evening.

Thanks to all who volunteered to help with refreshments for International Night. It’s not too late for anyone else to help. We are looking for parents who are willing to make a platter of hors d’oeuvres for the evening. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but it does need to be bite-sized. If you can help - just call the school office and let us know.

IDEAS needed: We are in the process of planning next year’s calendar. Do you have any ideas for events you’d like to happen at school - social events, family events, fundraising dinners - whatever. Please email any ideas to ststansprincipal2003@yahoo.com by Friday, May 16. Thanks!!

Our Mission Statement

Protected by God, rooted in Jesus, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and consecrated to Our Lady of Czêstochowa, we are St. Stanislaus School. Compelled by Gospel values, we integrate our Catholic faith with contemporary life. Parishioners, parents, faculty, students, and alumni encourage one another to answer the call to holiness and, as disciples of Jesus, find meaning and purpose in life. Through the unique gifts that Jesus has given each of us, we strive for academic excellence. Imitating our patron, we pray for the courage to give witness to God’s presence, responding to the call of Jesus: Be not afraid! Follow Me.

You're Invited

"Where do you live?" "Come and see!" As we welcome you on your virtual visit to St. Stanislaus School, we echo the invitation of Jesus. His is the heartbeat of our school and we hold as our primary mission the sharing of the Gospel. Whether studying mathematics or discussing current events or expressing creativity in art, we teach our students to illumine everything with the light of faith. This web site will give you a window into our community. Its creation and continued development are examples of the stewardship of parents, parishioners, and friends. We invite you to return often. If you are in the Fall River area, you are most welcome to visit the school. We extend a special invitation to prospective students, as well as alumni, to "come and see".
